"A few years ago, I suffered a stroke, which left my left side about 20% useable. Joining Country Health Connect allowed me access to a wide variety of services for disabled persons - orthotics, physiotherapy, regular cleaning - and I joined the Industrial Therapy Workshop (men’s shed). These are only a few of the services that I now use, and as I get older I’m sure there will be more. With the help from very knowledgeable and friendly staff, it has made my life a lot more comfortable and improved my social life."

"For the past three years our fiercely independent elderly parents have resisted any external help in the home and instead my sister has been helping them to maintain their day to day activities. Today we are delighted that Country Health Connect have been able to provide two very kind, patient and compassionate support workers, Julie and Daph, to help our parents with shopping and preparing meals at home. My sister is able to take a well-deserved holiday and we are very grateful for the kindness and professionalism Country Health Connect staff have displayed."

“I don’t want to move anywhere; I’ll be just fine at home. I just need a bit of help with a few things that aren’t as easy as they used to be.”
